Aro Valley Wastewater Renewals

We have now completed the relining of the wastewater main supporting households on Holloway Road, Haines Terrace, Carey Street and the bottom of Old Bullock Road. Unfortunately, due to the condition of several lateral connections, there is some more work to do to finish the project. This means we will be extending the works into next week.

We’re de-watering the site to lower the water table in the area so the five-metre-deep pits we dig for the new geoflex pipe connections either side of the concrete chamber are not waterlogged.
